I have two children and I am not certain if I am actually buying all these children's books for them or for me. My favorite time of day is bedtime, because I am able to spend such quality time reading and talking about books with my kids. My oldest is almost three and have several excerpts from his fav books memorized. I am interested in books for the 4-8 age group right now and books that talk ethnicity, the planet, and being green. We have most of the classics...the Mo Williams, Eric Carle, Sandra Boyton, and a zillion others. I have come across some really great children's books to begin conversations about recycling, and caring about the planet, along with the Indigenous Peoples, and the animals, albeit not to complex conversations with a almost three year old.
