Inspired largely by Disney movies, Star Wars, and Saturday morning cartoons, T. Kyle Gentry began drawing at an early age with the ambition to become an artist. Kyle firmly believes that giving life to characters through art is a joy but utilizing them to provide creative solutions for a client is even better. Having received a BFA degree from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida in 1997 and with over ten years of experience as a freelance illustrator and designer, he is able to utilize both traditional methods (Pencil, Pen) to start the creative ideation process, then use digital methods (Adobe Photoshop CS4, Corel Painter 9, Autodesk SketchbookPro 2010, WACOM Cintiq, on a Mac) to finalize well defined character designs and illustrations for many industries. Some of these industries are the greeting card, print/poster, advertising, magazine, editorial, children's publishing, and game industries as well as the animation industry, for which he can create character designs and concepts, character development sketches, and visual development illustrations. Kyle enjoys providing clients with art that can both stimulate and entertain their target audience. Whether the subject matter is children, creatures, animals, sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, educational, or just down right hilarious, he would love to create it for you.

T. Kyle Gentry is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the CG Society for digital artists. He resides in the Orlando, Florida area with his wife Katie, cat “Seuss”, and Beagle "Schroeder".
