Hi, I’m Megan
I am a proud mum of two gorgeous children aged 4 and 6. We live in a picturesque part of the country half way between Millthorpe and Forest Reefs in the Central Tablelands of NSW (Australia). My husband and I love life in the country and it has become the setting for my first series of books.

Although most of my working life has been in the field of accounting, bookkeeping and office work, I have always felt the urge to do something creative. With that in mind I recently decided to combine three things in life that bring me the most happiness – children, books and animals.

Looking back at my own childhood I can remember always having my nose in a book. One of my most treasured possessions is a boxed set of Enid Blyton books given to me by my grandmother, which includes The Magic Faraway Tree, The Enchanted Wood and others. I would love to help children discover the magical world of books where one can escape to another time and place where anything is possible.

I spent a good chunk of my childhood living on a small hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of fantastic characters of the four legged kind.

Now that I have my own children I realise how special and impressionable those early years are. My children share my love of books and animals and they are thrilled that my first book is about our beloved family dog Saxon. He was part of the family for 14 years and gave us lots of fun and laughter. I hope you enjoy my first book The Adventures of Saxon – It’s Cool to be Different.
