I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Education and currently teach in the Chicago-land area. Teaching children, I have learned that before we address academics, we must first build a safe, supportive, and open community where children can express themselves freely. The children I teach inspire me to write and illustrate children’s books that speak to character building, self-discovery, and personal growth.
