I'm a freelance artist and writer so I have a life filled with many different activities.
I have recently tried to form a community group of local artists to share opportunities in the market place. Alas, most local artists are either busy juggling careers or working full time finishing artwork for competitions.
I am currently working on a series of figurative paintings, "Dayze of Innocence," looking at the 1970s hippy movement and commenting on what we were doing back then. (small scale oils)
The outdoors is always fascinating and I've been doing some plein aire drawings of the local bush and parks in my valley. There is so much change occurring with newcomers and their pressures on the environment here that some of the special wild places need to be documented before they are lost. I'm also looking around for landscapes and seascapes which may be impacted by climate change to document those changes.
These activities may lead to publication at a later date.
