About Michelle

Michelle Cruz is an aspiring children's book writer and illustrator. She graduated from Rutgers University with a theater production degree in 2002. Her current "production" is a children's book about stage fright.

She's hoping to get some pointers and learn as much about children's book writing as possible.

Thanks for the add, Michelle. I'm fairly new to writing, but I've done plenty of personal research about the industry the last two years. If you have any specific questions, I'd be glad to help!

Hi Michelle, welcome to Jacket Flap. Before you self publish you should try to get published. Look in a book titled the Children's Writer's & Illustrator's Market for listings of markets and some good articles on how to begin. Good luck.
