I have illustrated a number of children's books, most of them for children age 6-11. My work is whimsical and often funny, not merely decorative. The series that I did for Black Dog & Leventhal involved books on astronomy, poetry, music, and the environment. These books are heavily illustrated, and each one took several months to complete.

However, I work quickly and efficiently, and love to work closely with editors and authors.

I also have a body of work which was done for myself, and is more aimed at adults. I have shown examples from a recent series on cakes. (Cakes? You have to look at them to understand!)
