I'm no Einstein but I play one on JacketFlap. My interest in children's books and illustration began in high school when I enjoyed reading the comics, Calvin and Hobbes, the Peanuts, etc... I love the American Alligator illo! I live in Florida, and I think gators get a bum rap. I'm glad to see you portraying one in a friendly manner.
