I was born and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut with my seven siblings. It is from here that the inspiration for The House of Do-dear came. Thanksgivings were huge, both in the number of people and in the energy it took to prepare. It was not unusual to have 50 people sitting down for dinner at one table.
