I'm an Irish-American author, with a BA in Anthropology and a minor in Regional Studies from CSU, Chico. My ethnography, The Karuk: An Upriver People, was published in 1991 from Naturegraph Publishers, Inc., a CA business since 1946. My colorful and historic biographical articles have been published in True West, Wild West, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame (Persimmon Hill Press), and the Sierra Heritage Magazine. Outdoor California published my story of black bears. My work has appeared in many local and regional newspapers as well.
