I have recently completed a book aimed at young adults (probably anywhere between about 10 to 13 years of age), which is a ghost story set in North Wales, based in the late 1970s. Having uploaded my book onto Authonomy, a website set up by Harper Collins for aspiring novelists (or indeed writers of non-fiction), I have had a lot of very favourable feedback, which I have found immensely encouraging. One suggestion I was recently given was to approach publishers in Wales that supply books to schools. This idea came from a lady who used to teach English in Wales and felt that, with the Anglo-Welsh connection, it would make an excellent class reader. I wondered if there was anyone out there who might be able to suggest any likely candidates? Any ideas gratefully received!
