Hi Kim, I wear several hats, often all at once, like most of us do. As a struggling writer I mistakenly thought that a publisher was supposed to do all the work, but now as a struggling publisher I realize that the writer must be committed to work with the publisher, not only to produce a work of art, but to market the book as well. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Many writers, once published, sit back and wait for the $$$ to roll in... And unless they win the lottery, most must wait a long time.
