I live in Illinois and have 3 children (grown or almost grown) and many animals! I love to write poetry, especially about things that are very emotional for me. I decided to try my hand at story telling in 2004.

I write verse and have self published a book
entitled "the Adventures of Sunny the Mouse" that I'm hoping to get picked up by a publishing house! Sunny learns life lessons of telling the truth, making new friends and holiday traditions among other things.

I've started a new 'series' for older readers about a little witch named Jenny who casts spells and doesn't always get the results she's looking for.

I've been writing verse since 1972 but began working on childrens stories in 2004.

I have MUCH to learn about how to get professionally published but the feedback I'm getting from those who have purchased my book tells me that publishing professionally is something I need to do. They are waiting for a sequel and doing it personally is very expensive!
