Hi Julie, Thanks for ordering 'The Owl Keeper' - I'd love to know what you and your daughter think of it!
I'd love to read your book on Arachnids (Weird, Wild & Wonderful) - especially after having been bitten last year by a brown recluse (I think) and ending up in the hospital! O-:

Hi Julie! I love your Aug 12 blog post! Kids are such a great inspiration, and I am continuously inspired by their endless imagination not restricted by the limits of reality that creeps in during adulthood.
My husband and I were in Melbourne BK (before kids!), and we had a fabulous time... more

Hi Julie,
Thanks for you kind words on my page. Yes, I am absolutely thrilled and stunned to be so fortunate with my first book. At the moment I am going through the track changes recommended by my copyeditor.
Congratulations on all your great work also.

Thanks for being friends Julie!
Here in Colorado we have The Butterfly Pavilion where kids can hold Rosie, a rose-haired tarantula, and they LOVE it! I'm sure kids also love reading your book to learn about arachnids. Have a great day!

Hi Julie,
I'd love to work with you someday when I get a chance. I'm fascinated by all kinds of animals!
Have a great day! :)
Comment by ZooDoc Animal Lover on 2/26/2009 at 2:49 AM:
Hi Julie! I also am facinated by arachnids. I once petted a very large black tarantula in my backyard in Belize, which the neighbors named Eddie. But when I tried to pet a red tarantula, he stood up on his hind legs and changed my mind for me. :-) Keep up the good work. ;-) ZD

Dear Julie,
It´s a pleasure to be friends, in the distance of the Earth but so close with our love for the animals.
Luck with your book Australian Animals of the Night, which looks terrific.
