I've been in the book industry for just over twenty years, starting as a bookseller, then moving on as the children's fiction buyer for Barnes & Noble for over ten years. I was so fortunate during my tenure to experience radical changes in publishing, and to be a factor in those changes.

I then left to join the publishing side, first as the children's sales manager for Houghton Mifflin, then as editorial director of paperbacks at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. All of these experiences helped to round out my views of publishing, what I think is a rare set of perspectives ranging from retail to editorial. And I look forward to bringing those point of views to help my clients.
