I am a native Californian who married her Marine Corp sweetheart and raised four children while working, attending college and law school. Twenty years ago my husband and I jumped into a new project - the development of a pristine, secluded box canyon into our home site. Ever since that decision I have laughingly said, "We live in the 'project'". During all of the years I have written poetry and stories with just a few articles published in magazines and online. I retired two years ago with the intent of concentrating on writing and found that retirement does not automatically grant a license to freedom. Several children's stories are in the polishing state, along with a large number of poems.
