Hi Jescot! Well, I guess to better introduce myself, I am a mother of four boys who have inspired my drawings and writings. I grew up a tomboy so my work is geared away from cute and cuddly..although I'm very capible of creating them : ) I love food, fantasy, science fiction, and ancient history. ... more

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Regarding the book, I think it's out of print in the states as well. Honestly, the more I read it, the more frustrated I became. It's very heavy in color theory in the begining. Once the tutorials start, I found alot of the commands were inaccurate, or may... more

Almost Michael!! We've just finished 90 pencil work drawings - our largest children's book so far. This certainly tops our own 'book of records' but I doubt Guinness has a 'record' for the longest Children's Book. I may regret typing that ... I feel somebody's fingers hovering over a Google Search.
Comment by K. Michael Crawford on 10/27/2010 at 12:52 PM:
I just got the message. What are you guys doing? Trying to break the world record for the longest ongoing art piece?
I have submitted my paper work to Guinness and I have to wait and see if I did it.
Comment by Jessica Bouchard on 9/19/2010 at 11:44 AM:
Thank you! It sounds like you are having a fabulous time! I love magic and mystical creatures so your profile picture is very fun to me! Enjoy the rest of your celebration and remember that an illustrator is an artist ;) Ttyl

Really love the illustrations on The Nine Tenets in particular - the rest are great as well...that is definitely similar to what it seems I enjoy doodling, except at a much higher level! Would love to read the story! Also...I have debated coloring them in. Maybe I'll make a trip to get some colors!

That's kind of cool ..."from the other side of the big pond. Shall we go to the park to play or the track to race around and around?" You must have read one of my books, it is taken quite literally from Bug Meets his Friend!?!?!? =D

Thank you Elizabeth. For many years I have told the 'Water Cycle' story for the UK Charity, World of Water (http://www.thehobb.tv/wow/storytelling_storytime.html) but that's full of facts and figures (and fun). The Elf project we are working on with Julie Ford is set in Elfland - which, as far as I ... more
