I've lived in Florida for over half my life now, but I was born in Arizona and also lived in Ohio, California, and Texas. I'm now spending much of the summer in Holland, MA. My degrees are from The Ohio State University and Florida Atlantic University, and I've taken courses from several other universities. I've taught kindergarten, second, third, and fifth grades, and also Children's Literature and parenting courses at the college level. For much of my career, I was an elementary school guidance counselor, but also spent time as resource/reading teacher and classroom teacher. One of the most satisfying parts of my career has been the tutoring of individual students which I continue to do at this time.
