But now I'm getting a taste of the Southern life just an hour from the GA/FL border, happy to hunt up some more fabulous ghost stories with the southern breeze in my face. Growing up in a haunted house may be the key to my penchant for ghost stories. Represented by Elana Roth at Red Tree Literary... More

With all the distractions and disappointments the day job has brought me in the last year, I have had to double up on creative outlet time whenever I had the chance. Photography has been my outlet and my jell-time. That is when I take off at sunrise... Read the rest of this post
3/17/2015March Madness Day #18—Attack of the Plot Bunnies (0 Comments )

Hope you're liking Georgia. I'm still getting used to PA. Moving is hard, I don't care what anyone says.

Ghost stories? Love it! Sounds like just the right mix of excitement and creativity.
Did you really grow up in a haunted house?

Spaghetti for dinner sounds good. I'll be right over.
My hair stylist just asked me what I was doing this weekend after I gave her a copy of my new book. She's going to see Stomp--I had to tell her we are digging a trench around our screen porch to lay skunk-proofing. I'd rather make d... more

Maynooth eh? Never been myself, but it seems to have become a suburb of Dublin now. Well, the depression of the 80s passed, there was a lot of economic prosperity in the 90s, and now everything is ridiculously overpriced! There's a lot of immigrants now, which is wierd for a country that has its his... more

Hi Mary Ann, thanks very much. I look forward to finishing it! (nearly there though)

I'm curious, where in Ireland did you live? It's changed a lot since the 80s.

I've found that 11 seems to be the average age of the kids who are writing in (and are enjoying the book), though I have heard from many adults who said it scared them too :) ... more

I had the same experience I sent you an invite and just like that I had one from you. I'll ignore the wisdom about not using cliques and simply say, "Great minds run in the same direction."

Thanks for the hello, Mary Ann. Yeah, I've been doing this for a while (the only way to build up a big list), but my Scary States of America book is the one I'm most excited about. It's a collection of 50 short stories, one from each state, all dealing with the paranormal (ghosts, UFOs and aliens, ... more

Hi Mary Ann:
I've been on the site for a little while and if the opinion of an absolute stranger counts it's a great place to find out about all sorts of ceative types. I'm always in awe of writers. My 8 year old Katie has finally reached the point where she reads to me so it's good to know th... more
