Fat, old, and bald, I’m enjoying my retirement by writing some of the stories that have been bouncing around my head. I, initially, thought I would be a writer of fantasy – exclusively. Shows you what I know. I have a science fiction story (not too large a stretch), a redemption story, poetry (I hate poetry – except Pat G. has shown me I don’t), a drabble (That I love. I’m just waiting for Christmas to submit it.), a horror story, a couple of humorous pieces and a shape-shifter story that was published in New Zealand. (Hey, I’m published and it paid. Also, I really like the magazine.)

I participate in five writer’s groups and write a newsletter for one of them. I am not a good writer yet, but the writer’s groups have made me twenty times the writer I was. Find one. Join.
