About Elliah

I do a lot of writing in the bathtub. Nobody bothers me in there. :D I write poetry, picture books, and middle-grade novels. My poems have been published in several magazines for children.

So great to see you hear. Yay! Thanks for finding me. I do my best thinking in the shower but haven't figured out how to take notes on those thoughts. I should be taking baths instead!

Holly, I use clipboards. Haha. I don't think it would be a very smart idea to use a laptop in the bathtub. :D Of course, I try to not get them wet, but it happens all the time. I just lay the papers on the counter over night and they dry into nice crispy sheets.

Betty Lu, thank you for the 'welcome.' Yes, my pages get soggy and crinkled all the time, but that's okay with me.

I'm interested in this writing in the bathtub thing. So, do you bring in a clipboard? How does it not get wet? Or maybe it's a laptop you're using. But wouldn't that be a little dangerous? :)

Hi Elliah, welcome to Jacket Flap. You could list your published book on your site here so we can all see it. What an interesting place to write--don't your manuscripts every get soggy?
