Growing up in New York City’s kaleidoscope of culture, grit, splendor and a pulsating art scene was certainly an inspiration. During junior high, one of my paintings was selected to exhibit in a renowned Museum of Art. Later on, I was accepted into an art school in Manhattan where my formal training began. After pursuing my lifelong passion - children's books - my first published in 2004. "Super Silly Sayings That Are Over Your Head" (Starfish Press), received a Benjamin Franklin Literary Award nomination for Best New Voice (Children's/Young Adult). My next book, "What's That Look On Your Face?" (AAPC) was published in 2008. I currently live in California with my family.
