Great grandson to Latvian immigrants, Ben Redlich was born May 23rd, 1977, in Brisbane, Australia. Much of his childhood was spent generally doing lots of things requiring subsequent Tetanus shots. When he wasn't doing these things he spent every waking hour watching and studying cartoons, reading MAD and comic books, and doodling on school note pads.

Ben continues to doodle for a living. In his spare time he plays the Uke-Banjo, collects Joker cards, and plays with his dog 'Foo'. He likes lots of old stuff, like Golden Age cartoons, EC comics, and vintage jazz.
