My name is Phyllis Morris
I wrote "Secrets of the red Journal" I live in Illinois since hurricane Katrina devasted my life and took my house, retirement etc. I lived in New Orleans for about 47 years. Writing has become my escape from the stress of loosing many friends and escaping from the disaster. I am proud that my work is getting good reviews, and is online at amazon.com and Barnes and Nobles and many other online stores. I am even a google LOL. I am in the "ADVANCE" Magazine by Ingram. Hopefully a book store will notice and place my book in their stores. I am in the library here in Illinois. I have done several book signings locally. I have a web site called phyllismorrisworld.com I am in the process of updating it. We have had to start over... My husband is now on disability so I really hope and pray that I am able to pick up the slack financially. This is my bio... Phyllis Morris has been married since 1995; she has one daughter, son-in law and three grand children. She is a Nanny and friend to many. She was born in a small village in Illinois. She has three sisters and a brother. She lived in New Orleans since 1963 until hurricane Katrina devastated the city in 2005. Since then she has relocated to her home town. She believes that dreams can come true. And promises and secrets are always kept sacred. As a little girl living in Japan she would lie on the ground at night and gaze at the stars, she knew that in America people were getting up as she was about to sleep. She would wish upon a star each night and dream. As an adult she has not given up on reaching those precious childhood dreams. She gets up each morning and takes a deep breath, day by day and step by step. There are days when she stumbles, but that's what makes her human. She simply dusts herself off and starts all over again. This web-site and her books-poetry are some of her dreams.
