Antonette is a writer of children's books and stories and was winner of the Children's Book Council of Australia (NSW Branch) Mentorship Competition in 2005 and short-listed in 2006; and winner of the Junior Novel section of the Ipswich (Queensland) Children's Literature Festival in 2007. She has an agent who is busy placing her work. Some of Antonette's stories will appear in "Little Ears" - an Australian magazine for pre-schoolers - in 2008. When she is not writing Antonette is a senior manager in a commerial construction company. Antonette lives in Sydney with her husband and two Himalayan cats. She has one daughter, single and independent, who works in television in Manhatten, New York. Antonette loves Aqua Aerobics and travelling.
