I formerly worked mainly in an odd, inderdiciplany feild known as "found-sound and narrative". It involved a lot of machinery noise collection, lyric writing, and grounding of charachters in their sonic environment. Before retiring to write "pure text" full time, I published 5 full length works (under a pseudonym!). They ranged in theme from the story of a space probe who went out into the universe to hunt for intelligent life, to the arrival of the pioneers on New Zealands west coast (arts council comissioned). I now write childrens stories and literary fiction.
