My passion is reading but furthermore I say this because I found my self through Native American Children's Literature, through my Fifth Grade Students, and through my High School students on Native American Literature. The purpose of reading to me is to place yourself in that story, and experience the narrative story. And this is important being a Native teacher, teaching Native students through Culturally Authentic Native American Children's Literature, what the story entails. This is my life purpose is to provide these type of literature for Native Youth so this will enable them to read more about them self as well as other Native Nations.
