Congratulations on having your YA manuscript under considerations by an agent. That's the first step.
I write mostly children's picture books, but I do have a few other manuscripts in progress of other genres (YA and NF parenting gift book). I had an agent for a year, but as a new agent she did not have the contacts to successfully promote my first manuscript. I am now on the hunt for a more established agent.
Thanks for the comment about my profile pic. That was taken a year ago, so my little guy is quite a bit bigger now!
