Hello. I work with Books for Asia, a program of The Asia Foundation. Since 1954, BFA has been distributing learning materials to some of the neediest parts of Asia, the places where they can have the biggest impact. Our work relies heavily on the generosity of publishers of all sizes, and especially upon small independent publishers for the unique and imaginative materials they produce. These dynamic books are particularly critical in terms of children, whose development into active, productive and informed citizens begins at an early age and requires access to the tools of learning.
