My name is teninet setegn. I was born in Ethiopia and published my first Amharic [Ethiopian language] children’s book in 2003.
I feel that the introduction of modern marketing systems would be the single factors that would most boost Ethiopian literature. Therefore I’m running my own bookshops and experimenting with innovative ways of producing and selling Ethiopian traditional books and children’s stories. I’m currently trying out large-scale door –to-door and internet marketing schemes [www.addmesh.com] that targets parents. Although I also writes for adults, but my heart is in writing for children’s.
