Hello friends, and colleagues. I am delighted to have found such a wonderful vehicle by which likeminded writers, publishers, and agents of Children's Literature can network and do business. This is particularly exciting to me as the owner of a growing publishing company (CCP Publishing). I have recently launched a few new imprints: A Curious Mind Books (Children & YA only) Isaiah Books Worldwide (Christian Literature only). I am preparing to launch Book #1 from my brand new 6 book Children's series entitled Amanda's Amazing Adventures. The first release in this extraordinary mystery series is THE CASE OF THE MISSING POOCH. The book is being produced in a beautifully illustrated picture book version (for ages 3-7), and as an exciting chapter book (for ages 8-11).

About the Picture Book version:
The story explores the life of Amanda Hill, an eight year old pint-size sleuth who sets out to find her neighbor's missing pooch. Draw into the search are her twin friends, Miley and Kiley, and her new best friend Quinton. The illustrations are beautiful and sure to keep the attention of any child.

About the Chapter Book version:
The story explores the life of an eight year old pint-size super sleuth who sets out to find her neighbor's missing pooch. While combing the neighborhood for clues, Amanda learns that the missing pooch is just one of many missing expensive showdogs that have gone missing from the neighborhood. Draw into the search are Miley and Kiley, Amanda's twin friends, her new best friend Quinton, brother Jamie and even the neighborhood bully Ashland Huff. When Amanda stumbles on a local dognapping ring and she and her friends find themselves in a world of trouble.

Children all of all ages will love this book. Amanda witty and curious to a fault. The book is filled with cool, zany, and quick witted characters that children will quickly identify with.

Parents, Teachers and Librarians will love the Amanda's Amazing Adventures series as it provokes thought, fact finding, team work, cognitive thinking, promotes values and brings back the joy to reading. The illustrations are superb, and there is a diagram and question and answer section in the back of the picture book that parents and teachers and use as a tool to help children solve their own mysteries. CCP Publishing is also looking for proof readers and editors for it's A Curious Mind Imprint.

We are currently accepting query letters from aspiring children book authors for possible publishing of their work for the first quarter of 2010. So get those query letters ready.
