Hi, Everyone -Thank you for the welcome. I am looking forward to meeting those of you who are working their way toward being published and many who already have found success. As a grandmother and recently retired from building furniture and restoring antiques, I now have time to travel and do the things I was too busy to do in my younger years. I was originally raised on a farm in upstate New York and am now very busy writing and illustrating stories that pertain to animals.Being involved in a music ministry keeps me in the mainstream of our local country churches.As a current member of The International Women's Writing Guild (www.iwwg.org) - along with many, many other women - I am privy to workshops that host authors, agents and publishers that assist us lonely writers and illustrators to press forward.
