I tend to gravitate toward young adult novels, especially ones that delve into the darker issues teenagers face.
Currently I am working on a novel about a young boy struggling with his identity in a world that seems far too fixated on appearances. This story is quite comical and sarcastic. It also touches on issues such as date rape, bullying, and standing up for one's self.

I think your artwork would be snapped up by publishers if you put it out there. It's much better than a lot of the cover art I've seen. Doing illustration for chapter and picture books you could make a killing.

Wouldn't it just :) Now we have to beat on more and more doors before we can hope to reach a publisher. At least those writing for adults do, we can find some who don't want us to go through agents, who want us to go through book doctors and proofreaders first ;)
