About Laurel
I am a former special needs teacher who has given up the classroom to start writing and illustrating a new children's books series, The Misadventures of Seefus Slug. I have found this to be much more fun and rewarding than being overwhelmed and understaffed at school. Plus, I have been able to reach out to a lot more children and share their joy in reading my books.
