The work experience I have gained over the course of my business career has shaped my competence, skill, and love of journalism. The various styles, genres, forms and formats of written communication I have utilized continue to fuel my interest and enthusiasm for the broader fields of multi-media communications and information management rapidly unfolding around me.

From e-mails to business plans and from text messages to news articles – the interplay of words, thoughts, and ideas I’m able to work with each and every day is invigorating. I am continually inspired by a diverse cross-section of contemporary authors, radio/television reporters, newspaper columnists and modern-day wordsmiths. Women and men who text, twitter, update, announce and report – using colorful and descriptive language – to illustrate their specific views, ideals, and understandings of a world constantly reinventing itself.
