Self taught and self represented, Riley Vaughn was born with a Czech background in the Pacific Northwest. Last of six siblings, she mastered landscapes and portraits at the tender age of nineteen and become a certified Master of Fine Arts.

Her works have been auction for the wildlife conservatory, Ducks Unlimited, where her paintings have found homes in hospitals and catching the eye of local Mayors and politicians.

The arts helped her deal with her own AD/HD symptoms. This perpetuated her activism in Art Therapy for children and adults who suffer from depression, addictions, and learning disorders.

In 2001 she moved to New York to pursue her career in the arts and further her education. Attending classes at NYU and studying architecture and design at NSID, she specialized in drawing and painting portraits, and has been doing it for almost fifteen years.

Her work has been displayed at the Belskie Museum in NJ, private collections all over the world, and featured in the new wing of Pascack Valley Hospital, NJ. She is now settled in the Montvale area working as a full time artist, illustrator, and creative writer doing digital Illustrations for covers, books, and marketing materials.
