Greetings From Columbia Crossroads!
I'm Mia. I am many things, a daughter, a sister, a breast cancer survivor, a teacher, a library media specialist and an unpublished writer.
You'll find me sitting on the floor in any book store, pouring through children's literature. I am sure there have been days when I've collected dustbunnies... and the audiance of small children who want to hear the story that made me laugh.
I love reading, sharing thoughts on stories and writing my own tales. I was a classroom teacher for 11 years before becoming a SLMS. I have promised my very first class that the first book I publish will be dedicated to them... and so it shall.
I haven't any children of my own~ unless you can be gracious enough to let me count my 2 dear pugs! Eloise and Phineas are my pug children...and all 500 little ones at the elementary school where I teach.
