After four years of teaching sixth grade in Brooklyn, New York and eleven years as an editor at Golden Books, Scholastic, Random House, Harper, Penguin, and finally as editorial director of the Aladdin imprint at Simon & Schuster, I opened a boutique literary agency, The McVeigh Agency.

Supported by Anne Miller, our subsidiary rights director, and Linda Epstein, submissions manager and my assistant, as well as a battalion of interns, we handle over 70 clients: authors for adults and children, illustrators, graphic novelists, and photographers.
