Hi, I'm Leah Waarvik and my book is I Sit and Stay: A Survival Guide for Kids (And Parents Too!).
That's my dog Emma in the photo with me, she's the narrator of my book. Together we are a Canine Search and Rescue team with the California Rescue Dog Association and also with the Alameda County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue team.
My book educates kids about wilderness safety.
