I've always been fascinated by the power of the written word...

That "passion" for being able to communicate by putting pen to paper has been a very important part of my career in media.

Aside from it being a staple in my everyday work, words have also provided me the greatest sense of comfort, accomplishment, and sheer delight in being able to either discover or create something new and different, simply by "playing" with words.

I may never get major recognition for anything I've ever written--but if my words are able to inspire in some small way, and encourage another person to delve, discover, and delight in the written word, that, to me, is my greatest reward...

Right now, I am learning the ropes of publishing, and have an illustrated young adult book waiting to be considered by a publisher. It is a unique story with a definite moral and an O. Henry sort of twist.

It is an "opera in animation" without the music...Any and all advice would really be appreciated!
