My name is Katie Alender, and I live in Studio City, California. I work as a writer/producer for televised dog shows and I write fiction for young adults. My protagonists tend to be strong female characters and I pride myself on writing books my parents wouldn't have objected to my reading when I was a teenager (or writing now that I'm an adult).
