I'm an illustrator/writer, based in Scotland, producing work that's pretty much always fantasy-related. There's generally an element of humour in anything I do, too. Can't help it, I'm just such a funny guy! : ) I've produced work for a whole heap of publishers, but most of what I've been doing over the last few years has been with Templar Publishing, a UK-based children's book publisher... A lovely bunch of people, and highly creative into the bargain. Under their auspices, I had the privilege to work on Dragonology, along with Helen Ward and Wayne Anderson - authored by Dugald Steer - as well as a variety of subsequent titles, and the whole experience has been immensely enjoyable.

Having uploaded details relating to some of the books I've worked on, it occurs to me that people might automatically assume... this guy's a one trick pony; all he ever illustrates is books about dragons! Fact is, once you get a reputation for being able to do something with reasonably proficiency, you can end up being type cast.
