I have 11 great-grandchildren, ages 16 -2mo. Books and
reading are the best subjects I can give to them . All but
one live away from the city I live in, so this is one way I can
keep in touch.
I have many interests that I keep busy with. The friends
I have had for many yrs. One went to first grade with me
through High School, and we have kept in touch since then.
Another, has failing eyesight so we keep in touch by phone. She also has been a friend for over seventy years.
I've had some great pets, in past years, I play the keyboard
use the computer, do lots of reading.After my husband
died, I sold our farm home and moved to town. Sure miss the wild life that was always around the yard. I have been a telephone operator, cake decorator, bill collector, 4H Club
leader, and seamstress.
belonged to community clubs and experienced life
without electricity or phone while living on the farm.
It seems like we went from semi- pioneer days to the
high technology days we now have. I love reminsing
over past history, it brings back many happy memories .
