Andres Rodriguez is a graduate of the School of Graphic Design at the National University of Colombia where he also learned printmaking and oil, refined them later in the workshop Loochkartt Angel, who also became his teacher of fresco and distemper. It also was part of the Experimental Animation Postgraduate in Javeriana University.

For three years he served in a small studio as an animator, character designer, producer and illustrator of storyboards. Currently has established its field work in the execution of various projects for publishers and magazines in Colombia and Argentina, where it develops illustrations for textiles.

His illustrations were exhibited at the 2nd Festival of Children's Book (2008), on 1st Exhibition of Leisure and Fantasy SOFA (2009), in the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (2009), in the exhibition (img) 50 ways to envisage the Illustration (2010) and on 3rd Illustrators Hall Club El Nogal (2010).

He was Professor of the Specialization in Illustration and animated cartoon in the School of Arts and Letters and is currently pursuing a Master of Communication Design at the University of Buenos Aires
