Hi there---I am aspiring to be a published writer in the "children's" market. I have written a novel that receives great comments when read by friends and teachers. But, how many query letters must we write to get a favorable response from someone who can advance our careers in this field? I have written to many editors as well as publishers. Oh well...life is good. I sing with my band and also do some sales work. I have nothing to complain about...except for an occasional "whine" I am really quite happy.
