Hi Cynthia, thanks for adding! Fede.
Comment by Peni Griffin on 3/5/2010 at 7:26 AM:
Hi, famous person. I know somebody on the New York Times Bestseller list - how awesome is that? I also noticed the bit about 2 Indians being on there - and your book isn't even about being Indian! The world progresses in little ways while we're not noticing.
Comment by KaaVonia Hinton on 12/4/2009 at 9:25 AM:
That night was so funny and ironic. When I got back to class, I told my students (They had read Jingle Dancer a few weeks before.) you will not believe who led me down a dark path to safety when I was at NCTE :)They were like, "No Way!"
Comment by Tom Geyer on 7/10/2009 at 8:13 PM:
Hi Cynthia,
I've posted a little of my YA manusript with my profile. If you get a chance to take a peek, I'd love your opinion. I'm sure you're busy and I don't mean to impose, it's just that I hate my day job and I'm so determined to get my writing career under way.
Thanks, Tom

Thanks, & hope you're well--

Hi Cynthia!
Thanks for accepting my invitation.
Looking forward to reading more of your work.
I recently heard (in a writing class) that you delete your writing and begin again from scratch when you're doing your final draft? If true, that's radical. And brave!
Comment by Charles Boone on 2/4/2009 at 10:33 AM:
Hi Cynthia,

So glad you checked out The Picnic Basket and liked what you saw. As you know, it's all about connecting books with readers - and teachers and librarians are so key to that process. Plus they have so much to say about how they use books with kids. I've heard from so many teachers and librarians (... more
