My first inclination is toward non-fiction. In fact, it was in non-fiction that I was first published. And that was online. It actually even PAID! $5, but hey! It wasn't for children, though. That was in '98. WOW! 10 years ago! But...

I have been published in a children's anthology. Guess I'm supposed to put that in my Bookshelf, huh. It was back in 2000. Has a cute title. "Stories That Won't Make Your Parent's Hurl" by Dog Yard Press. "Spooky", our story, was co-authored. It involved a new creature in the realm of fantasy, the unicat. They have healing powers and can speak with humans in an alternate universe. I published under my birth surname, Daniels. [I'm adopted.] Sadly, my co-author [who happened to be named Cherie too, died of cancer in 2001. It's been a while since I've done anything in writing, but I'm now working on another unicat story.

I am newly widowed but have 2 cats to keep me busy and creative.
