I was raised a midwestern girl but my fantasy roots are firmly planted in NYC. I love the high energy of the city I've only visited three times, which is odd because I'm not a high energy kind of gal. I'm perfectly happy typing away in my little neck of the woods in Chandler, Arizona. I'm a married mother of two that loves my time taking care of sandwiches, band-aids and bedtimes but who can not wait to get back to my stories to see what my characters have to say and what they will be doing next. Writing truely is a passion that I embrace. I spent years trying to perfect a sci/fi novel for teens and realized I was better suited for young childrens books when my son needed something to read and we were out of ideas. I told him I'd write something for him and "Joanie Adventure Travels the World" was formed! It is my goal to see my Joanie Adventure series published and to meet new friends with the same interests in writing.
