April Hayes is from Amarillo, Texas. She has been writing short stories from the time she was a child.
April has composed a few poems; she paints, and has written a song or two.

April became more serious about painting while recovering from a major surgery in 2007.

To date April has sold two of her paintings, one water color and one oil. She donated 10% of the proceeds to a local women’s shelter.

April has been intensively involved with the theatrical community in years past and some what less most presently.

April She loves animals. When her mother was alive she would call April “Ellie Mae” because she has such an affinity for animals.


She has one son his name is Mark. Now that her child is grown, she is thinking that she will have more time to devote to writing and painting as well as other community organizations.
