I am a writer and aspiring webcomic author. My current aspiration is to become an editorial assistant in a publishing firm so I can learn the basics of publishing. I am a huge believer in the importance of good children's literature, though I'm not sold on the concept of "young adult" literature (I myself skipped from Dr. Seuss and Greek Myths directly to sci-fi and adult--not the XXX kind).

Hi Andre, welcome to Jacket Flap. What kind of books do you write and for what age group. I agree that children need good literature to improve their minds and souls.

alo andre, devemos criar um circulo de conhecidos no jakcketflap. acabei de escrever um manuscrito sobre um moco crescendo numa favela de sao aonde trabalhei nos anos sesenta. esta com um publisher, mas e tao dificil por aquele primeiro livro no barnes&nobles! tchau. patricio
